Soya Chunks Curry/Mealmaker kaima curry

Hi Folks..i have not been blogging for quite some time...due to personal stuff!Happy to meet u all again after a very long time.....Thanks to all the visitors who have been making my blog alive for the past few months.Well lets go to the recipe.....

Soya chunks has always been my favourite....This is a recipe which i followed from a cookbook...It dint sound good wen i first read it but wen i tried it ~VOILA~ it tasted really good.Chek tis out....Hope u too vl lik it.



Ingredients:
Soya Chunks - 15 to 20
Onion - 2
Tomato - 3
Curry Leaves - a handful
Coriander Leaves - a handful
Saunf - 1teaspoon
cinnamon - 1
Salt - required.
Oil - required.preferrably 3 to 4 teaspoons.More oil more the taste.

To Grind into a paste:
Coconut grated- 2tableaspoon
Saunf/sombhu - 1teaspoon
Ginger - 1piece
Garlic - 6pods
Chilli Powder - 2teaspoon
Coriander Powder - 1 teaspoon
Cashewnuts - 6

Method:
1.Wash the soya chunks thoroughly.Soak them in hot water for 10mins and wash them once again.
2.Grind the ingredients given in "To Grind".
3.Put the soya chunks in the mixer and grind it coarsely.(Note:dont grind it to a paste.)
4.Heat oil in a pan.Add saunf,cinnamon and curry leaves.wait till they splutter.Add onion and fry till transparent.
5.Add soya chunks kaima and fry till it slightly changes color.
6.Add ground mixture along with tomatoes and fry till raw smell goes away.
7.Pour required water for gravy and check the salt.
8.Garnish with fried cashewnuts and coriander.
9.Tastes good with Idiyappam,chappati,rice,dosa.
